As the night came to an end, we would begin to ride waves of euphoria and dysphoria

But when the sun arose, an anticlimactic negative atmosphere would develop, which would eventually sustain

I would stare in to space, where I could see atmospheres and small flickering dots

Occasionally catching a glimpse of another’s eyes through our heightened peripheral vision

Someone would drive the conversation along until it was a reasonable enough time to go home

We eventually dispersed

The veins in my head still throbbing, pumping narcotics around my body
